Our Pledge

Everyone is Welcome

We pledge to make participation in DevGathering a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We are committed to fostering an environment where all developers can learn, grow, and connect without fear of discrimination or exclusion.

Standards of Behavior

Expected

✓Using welcoming and inclusive language
✓Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
✓Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
✓Focusing on what is best for the community
✓Showing empathy towards other community members

Not Tolerated

✕Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
✕Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal attacks
✕Public or private harassment
✕Publishing others' private information without permission
✕Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate

Enforcement

Community organizers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior and will take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior that they deem inappropriate.

Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the community at the discretion of the organizers.
